Tagumpay na nasungkit ni World No. 11 at Pinoy pole vaulter EJ Obiena ang ginto matapos ma-clear ang kanyang season's best na 5.77 meters sa ginanap na International Springer-Meeting sa Cottbus, Germany.


Itinanghal silang co-champions ng pole vaulter na si Menno Vloon mula Netherlands.
