Umapela si Dr. Ana York Bondoc pulmonary and critical care specialists, na i-ban ang rapid testing at sinabi niya ito sa kanyang video at dito niya ipinabatid ang sulat para kay Pangulong.

“Dear, President Duterte requesting for a ban of rapid testing. I’am respectfully requesting a ban for antibody serology testing or popularly called rapid testing effective immediately rapid testing is internationally agreed by medical professionals to be unreliable with numerous false positives and false negatives.

I believe that the wrong clinical decisions made accurate result from rapid test has been fueling the rise of COVID cases in Metro Manila.

Rapid testing for the diagnose of COVID is inaccurate, unreadable and has been banned

internationally by government in Australia, Dubai and India among others, they have been found defective worldwide and in the U.S., U.K. and in Australia, all the medical societies, the Philippines have already agreed that rapid testing should not be used to diagnose acute COVID, abuse and wrong use of rapid testing in the Philippines is widespread, all of the following we’re wrong yet they are occurring daily perpetuated by both the government and private sector.

Rapid test is causing much unnecessary financial hardship many workers has been placed on quarantine, no work no pay for a false positive test, many LGU waste time and effort quarantining false positive, worst the false negative are released to community to spread COVID again, we are urgently appealing to you.

The IATF, the Department of Health to banned rapid testing today, it is seriously damaging the Philippine's effort to combat COVID, additionally it is imposing much unnecessary hardship to the Pilipino People”

Ayon kay Bondoc, “sa maikling salita ito ay hindi maasahan, maraming false results, maraming false negative, false positive, ginagawa na lang pong hanap buhay.
