Disinfection sa Comelec offices sa Manila, sisimulan sa Hulyo 3

Walang magiging transaksyon sa lahat ng opisina at departamento ng Commission on Elections (Comelec) sa Intramuros Manila, simula sa Hulyo 3.
Sa isang pahayag sinabi ni Comelec spokesperson James Jimenez, na ang mga transaksyon ng ahensiya ay suspendido sa mga naturang araw para magbigay-daan sa lingguhang disinfection at decontamination.
“It light of this, we would like to assure the public that the delivery of services will not be hampered as we do our part in preventing the further spread of the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19),” ayon kay Jimenez.
Kasama sa disinfection na gagawin tuwing Biyernes ang main office ng Palacio del Gobernador, ang Offices of the Regional Election Director (ORED) ng National Capital Region (NCR), Region 4-A (Calabarzon) at Region 4-B (Mimaropa) at ang gusali ng FEMII.
Dagdag pa ni Jimenez, lahat ng gusali ng Comelec, pasilidad at office vehicles ay kinakailangang dumaan sa proper disinfection at decontamination upang masigurong ligtas ang mga personnel at ang publiko.
Ito ang tugon ng Comelec sa protocols na ipinatutupad ng Department of Health at Civil Service Commission (CSC) Memorandum Circular No. 10 s. 2020.
Samantala, nagpalabas na ng anunsiyo ang Comelec na ang voter registration ay suspendido ng dalawa pang buwan o hanggang August 31.
