Boxing legend na si Roberto Duran, tagumpay sa laban kontra COVID-19

Isa na namang tagumpay ang nakamit ng boxing legend na si Roberto Duran matapos siyang manalo sa laban kontra COVID-19.

Ipinost ni Duran sa kanyang Instagram account ang video kung saan makikitang pinapalakpakan siya ng mga doctor, nurses at atbp. hospital frontliners.

Aniya, “Today, with God's favor, I returned home after battling the COVID-19 virus.

“It was a world title fight I was able to win with the support, love and dedication of a medical team, who not only took care of me but of all the patients, who, like me, fought in the hospital against this virus who does not know of legends, world titles, social status, race, religion, etc…”

Ipinaalala rin ng retired four-division world champion ang kahalagahan ng pananatili sa loob ng bahay ngayong nahaharap ang mundo sa pandemya. Gayundin, pinasalamatan niya ang lahat ng tumulong at sumuporta sa kanya sa laban kontra covid-19.
