Pormal nang inendorso ng Kilusang Bagong Lipunan (KBL) ang kandidatura ni dating Senador Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. sa pagka-pangulo sa eleksiyon 2022.
Ang KBL ay isang political party na itinaguyod ng ama ni Bongbong na si dating pangulong Ferdinand Marcos.
Sa isang resolusyon, inihayag ng KBL na si Marcos ay “highly nominated as the party's official candidate for President and was unanimously approved by the officers and members of the party.”
"Resolved, as it is hereby resolved, to approve the nomination and endorsement of the candidacy of Former Senator Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Romualdez Marcos, Jr. as the Party's official candidate for the position of President in the National and Local Elections on May 9, 2022," ayon sa resolusyon ng partido.
Ayon kay Bongbong, siya ay tatakbo sa susunod na halalan ngunit wala pa siyang pinal na desisyon kung sa anong puwesto.
"If they endorsed me, I also thank them for that expression of support and trust they have bestowed upon me. (My recorded message aired during the national assembly) is a message of appreciation and thanks on my part. I don't know that you can interpret that as an acceptance," ani Marcos.
Dagdag pa niya, sasagutin niya sa takdang panahon ang lahat ng katanungan hinggil sa kanyang pagkandidato sa 2022.
