Bagong Senate website, inilunsad para sa transparency

Pinangunahan ni Senate President Tito Sotto ang paglulunsad ng redesigned website ng Senado na layong pagtibayin pa ang tulay na nagdurugtong sa pagitan ng mga senador at mamamayang pinaglilingkuran nito.

“Today we are launching a new Senate website that strengthens the commitments we made as a democratic institution. Notably the freedom of information, ease of access, transparency, and accountability to the Filipino people," ani Sotto.

Tampok sa pinakabagong website ang malinis, moderno, at user-friendly na interface upang madaling maintindihan ng publiko at makahanap ng impormasyon.

Makikita rin sa naturang website ang plenary sessions at committee events, kabilang ang buong budget process.

"This is what freedom of information looks like in practice – giving citizens direct and convenient access to the work of their representatives," pahayag ni Sotto.
