Ayon sa Bureau of Immigration (BI), 46 na empleyado ng ahensiya ang nagpositibo sa COVID-19 at saad ni Immigration Commissioner Jaime Morente, siyam sa mga ito ay gumaling na.
Aniya, “The good news is that, so far, none of our employees have succumbed to the virus.”
Saad pa ni Morente, “We are doing our best in seeing to it that health protocols aimed at preventing the spread of the virus are strictly observed in our offices and workplaces.”
Halos kalahati diumano ng bilang ng mga nagpositibo sa naturang ahensiya ay na-assign sa main office nito sa Intramuros, Manila at ang iba naman ay sa international airports at extension offices.
