Tatlo ang patay at animnapu’t apat ang sugatan sa nangyaring riot sa New Bilibid Prison ngayong Lunes, ayon sa Department of Justice.


Ayon kay Justice Undersecretary Emmeline Aglipay-Villar, hindi pa ito ang pinal na bilang ng mga nasaktan at nasugatan dahil kasalukuyan pang iniimbestigahan.


Kuwento ng Bureau of Corrections, nangyari umano ang “free-for-all scuffle” sa maximum security compound ng national penitentiary nitong alas-8 ng umaga.

Matatandaang saktong isang buwan ang nakalipas nang magkaroon din ng riot sa pagitan ng dalawang gang sa Bilibid na ikinamatay ng 9 na bilanggo.
