Amihan, nagsimula na

Puwede nang ilabas ang makakapal na damit at jacket matapos ideklara ng Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) ang paglakas ng hanging Amihan o northeast monsoon sa bansa.

Ayon kay PAGASA Administrator Vicente Malano, pumasok na ang Amihan season nitong Huwebes na ang ibig sabihin ay higit na malakas at umiihip sa malaking bahagi ng Pilipinas ang malamig na hangin.

Ang Amihan ay sanhi ng paglakas ng hangin mula sa hilagang-silangan na epekto ng high-pressure system sa Siberia.
