Sinabi ng young actress na si Julia Barretto na hindi niya malilimutan ang pelikulang Love You to the Stars and Back na pinagtambalan nila ng dati niyang ka-love team na si Joshua Garcia, gayundin ang seryeng Ngayon at Kailanman, at ang Between Maybes movie naman nila ni Gerald Anderson.

“How can I forget? I loved everything about Between Maybes. From the feel of the movie to how it was just so natural, no hysterics — nothing big was required in that film. Just true emotions. I liked that we were speaking through our eyes more than our mouths.”

Ayon sa magandang young actress, isa sa pinakapaborito niya ang Between Maybes dahil nakikita niya ang similarities nila ng ginam­panan niyang role na si Hazel.

Aniya, nakaka-relate siya sa mga pinag­daanang sakit at betrayals ng character niya sa Between Maybes. Pareho raw silang nami-misunderstood ng karamihan.

Kuwento ni Julia sa mga pinag­da­anan ng character niya, “There was a point in her life and in her career where she was so misunderstood and she became such an angry person. She wasn’t the person that she was and the person she wanted to be.”

Dagdag pa niya, “I liked that there was a back story, kung bakit siya naging ganu’n. There’s pain, there’s betrayal in the past. But deep down inside, she has a good heart, she’s a good person. I love Hazel kasi when I was doing that film, that’s what Julia was going through. She was so misunderstood. She was very lost, and Hazel was very lost. Hazel in the film and Julia as an actress doing the film—they both found themselves at the same time. So I’ll never forget that film.”
