NAGSANIB-PUWERSA ang iba’t ibang pamunuan para itaguyod ang pagkakaisa sa palakasan at pagbuklurin ang lahat para sa ikatatagumpay ng pagho-host ng bansa sa nalalapit na 30th Southeast Asian Games.

“The future of sports in the country is in your hands, nakikiusap po ako sa inyo, one goal, one team, Go-for-Gold,” pahayag ni dating Special Assistant to the President at ngayo’y Senador Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go sa harap ng 300 national athletes at sports officials noong Miyerkules ng umaga sa Heroes Hall ng Malacañang. “We must ensure that we’ll give our athletes and aspiring athletes the best support we can to achieve their goals,” wika pa nito.

Nagtipon para sa tinaguriang ‘Unity Meeting’ para ipakita ang kahandaan at kabuuan ng bansa para sa biennial meet na magsisimula sa Nob. 30-Dis. 11.

Ipinahayag ni Executive Director Salvador Medialdea na malaki pa rin ang tiwala ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na mapapatakbo nang maayos ng mga pangunahing ahensiya ang biennial meet. ”This meeting is called within the walls of Malacañang Palace to show that President Duterte is giving his 100% support to the country’s hosting of the 30th Southeast Asian Games. The preparation for the hosting and the training of our athletes should be at the forefront of everyone’s mind. We call all NSAs to support the hosting of the 30th Southeast Asian Games. Loyal and true only to the Filipino athletes and loved for our sports,” pahayag ni Medialdea sa dayalogo kahapon.

“I am confident that PHISGOC and together with the PSC (Philippine Sports Commission) and the Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) will be able to bring this year’s SEA Games to its outstanding fruition,” dagdag nito.
