P1.4 milyong droga sa tortilla, buking

UMABOT sa P1.4 milyong halaga ng marijuana ang nasamsam ng Bureau of Customs habang arestado ang claimant ng parcel matapos tangkaing kunin ito sa Central Mail Exchange Center noong Lunes ng gabi.

Inaresto ang claimant na taga-San Juan na hindi muna pinangalanan habang kinukuha ang parcel na naglalaman ng 847.20 gramo ng marijuana nitong July 1, 2019.

Ayon kay Port of NAIA District Collector Mimel Talusan, ang nasabing apprehension ay naisagawa sa patuloy na pagmamatyag ng Customs NAIA team at pakikipagkoordinasyon sa Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency.

Ang nasamsam na ‘kush’ o marijuana ay nakatago sa tortilla chips package na nagmula sa Illinois, USA.
