KALIDAD NG FOOTBALL, IAANGAT NG OMNI CUP

ISANG kakaibang football event na lalahukan ng may 300 players ang idaraos sa Hulyo 13 sa McKinley Hill Stadium na itataguyod ng OMNI Electrical and Lighting at ayon kay event director Kevin James Olayvar: “We are in the transition of developing football. I think growing awareness further starts with people seeing quality football matches, just like in basketball or boxing when they see good match-ups or famous personalities. I think that encourages or inspires children and adults to play the game themselves.”

Isasaayos sa iba’t ibang level ang mga competitive players kabilang na ang collegiate footballers, professionals at kahit mga dati at kasalukuyang youth and senior national team players sa torneo.

“Our first division is open to anyone. And all teams have slots for female players. We expect many top-level players to participate in the OMNI Cup. At the same time, the OMNI Cup also provides a venue for athletes for them to stay in shape for their competitions or clubs,” ayon kay Olayvar.

Ang event ay katatampukan ng dalawang dibisyon ng tig-12 teams para sa isang araw na exciting na football action. Ang unang OMNI Cup ay idinaos noong Marso 2019 kung saan nagwagi ang Suicide Squad Goons sa Division 1. Wagi ang Kickstart F.C. sa Division 2 title.

Samantala, magiging abala naman ang award-winning Best Center clinics sa Ateneo college covered courts at sa Starmall Alabang. May Saturday class ang Ateneo sa basketball at volleyball mula Hulyo 6 July -Agosto 24, mula 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Ang basketball clinics ay para sa Preparatory Level (5-8 years old) at Levels 1, 2, 3 and 4.

Ang Volleyball clinics ng MILO at Rain or Shine ay sa Levels 1, 2 at 3. Ang Sunday-only classes ay sa Alabang mula Hulyo 7- Agosto 25 mula 1-4 p.m. (VA/MC)
