WALA nang aberya sa pagbubukas ng Mindanao Qualifying leg ng 2019 Philippine National Youth Games – Batang Pinoy sa Pebrero 3 na na idaraos sa probinsiya ng Davao Del Norte. Ayon sa Philippine Sports Commission noong Martes, nakaayos na ang lahat at balik na sa normal ang sitwasyon sa Davao Del Norte matapos ang malawakang pagbaha dulot ng matinding ulan doon. “Wala naman na-cancel,” ani Ramirez. “They are almost back to normal na including doon sa mga naging apektado ng baha. The opening of the Batang Pinoy Mindanao leg will be on February 3,” dagdag ni PSC Chairman Butch Ramirez.

Sa isang advisory ng City Government ng Davao Del Norte sa Facebook, ang mga klase sa All Levels sa Tagum City ay sinuspinde mula Enero 29.

“The suspension of classes in Tagum City is still in effect. However, students of private schools and tertiary institutions are advised to check with their school authorities if they will be holding classes tomorrow. This decision is hinged on the following reasons: 1. The flood in low-lying areas in affected barangays has not yet subsided, and 2.
