“PACMAN, SOBRANG LAKAS KONTRA BRONER” – VARGAS

NAGBIGAY ng kanyang prediksiyon ang boxer na kapwa nakasagupa na nina Manny Pacquiao at Adrien Broner, walang iba kundi si Jessie Vargas.

Humahamon pa rin si Vargas ng rematch lalo na sa kanyang most high profile conqueror na si Pacman.

“I wanted it immediately after but they didn’t want to give it to me. You cannot push someone into taking a fight. I asked for it,” saad niya sa Boxing News.

Kumawala kay Vargas ang WBO welterweight title at naagaw ni Pacquiao noong 2016 at kating-kati siya uli na maka-rematch ang Pinoy champ dahil kaya na raw ng kanyang mga nagdaang karanasan.

“Each and every fight you look back at it and you think what could I have done differently. Each and every one of them. Even the ones you won, you say how could I look better, I’ll do it in the next fight. You just learn from it,” pagmamalaking wika ni Jessie.

Isa siya sa interesadong tagaobserba ng labanang Pacman at Broner sa Enero 20 at nagbigay siya ng kanyang prediksiyon sa Boxing News online. “It’s a good fight,” bunga ni Vargas. “But I see Pacquiao beating him because of his speed, his endurance, his experience. His ring generalship is too much for Adrien Broner.”

“Adrien Broner takes his time and the minute that you take your time with Manny Pacquiao, he will take advantage of it and hit you with three or four punches. His speed is intense,” pagpapatuloy niya. “Even if he doesn’t hit you or land punches but if he’s throwing them at you, it seems like he’s landing them,” ayon pa kay Vargas.

Sa panulat ng ABS-CBN online, unang nakasama ni Pacman si Lydell Rhodes sa training camp niya para sa trilogy fight kay Timothy Bradley. Matapos ang training kina Floyd Mayweather Jr. at kay Broner noon.

“They don’t understand what they do for us as sparring partners . . . I have fans because of Manny, just me being a sparring partner and then people knowing my name, that’s the best thing that can happen as a fighter because people want to know, they want to see you fight if they know you have a following. I have plenty of people that follow my career just because they know I’ve been in camp with Manny, so it’s a blessing and honor to have that.” (MC)
