Nagtatrabaho ako bilang purchasing clerk sa isang agricultural company. Bumili ang aming kumpanya ng bagong tractor at nasabi sa amin ng napagbilhan ng tractor na dapat daw ay iparehistro namin ito sa agricultural office ng aming siyudad. Totoo baito? — Gelo

Para sa inyong kaalaman,ang batas na sumasaklaw sa sitwasyon na inyong inilahad ay ang Section 19 ng Republic Act No. 10601 na mas kilala bilang “Agricultural and Fisheries Mechanization (AFMech) Law” kung saan nakasaad:

“Section 19. Registration of Ownership of Agricultural and Fishery Machinery and Equipment. — All owners of agricultural and fishery machinery and equipment must register these with the agriculture offices of municipal and city government units.

The agriculture offices of the LGUs shall establish and maintain a registry of agricultural and fishery machinery at the municipal, city and provincial levels.

The DA Regional Agricultural Engineering Division shall maintain a registry of agricultural and fishery machinery at the regional office whereas the BAFE shall maintain a national database of all registered agricultural and fishery machinery.

Each office shall ensure that these registries and databases are available through the internet.

The Secretary shall promulgate national guidelines and procedures for the registration of agricultural and fisheries machinery by the LGUs, including the collection of registration fees in accordance with the Local Government Code.

”Ibig sabihin nito ay nararapat na magrehistro sa mga agriculture office ng municipal at city government units ang lahat ng na gmamay-ari ng mga agricultural at fishery machinery.

Ang nasabing municipal at city government units naman ay nararapat na gumawa ng registry ng agricultural at fishery machinery na siya namang isasama sa national database.

Sa inyong sitwasyon, ang inyong kumpanya ay nararapat na magrehistro sa agriculture office ng inyong siyudad bilang nagmamay-ari ng tractor na maituturing na agricultural machinery.

Maisasama sa registry ang nasabing tractor na siya ring magiging basehan ng national database.

Nawa ay nasagot namin ang inyong katanungan.

Nais naming ipaalalasa inyo na ang opinyong ito ay nakabase sa inyong mga naisalaysay sa inyong liham at sa pagkakaintindi namin dito.

Maaaring maiba ang opinyon kung mayroong karagdagang impormasyong ibibigay.
