2019 SEA GAMES ATHLETES, PRAYORIDAD SA YEAREND NG PSC

“ABOT ang Tagum­pay” ang mantra ng Philip­pine Sports Commission kaugnay ng mga natupad na proyekto at iyan ang tam­pok sa sa yearend message sa harap ng mga mama­ma­hayag ni PSC Chairman William Ramirez.

Sa pamamagitan ng po­wer point presentation, bi­nanggit ni Ramirez ang thee legs (Luzon, Visayas, Min­danao) Batang Pinoy, Philip­pine National Games, Chil­dren’s Games, Peace for All Sports, Indigenous Sports, nationwide sports seminar/clinic, at nationwide Learn and Play Sports for Free sa pakikipagtulungan ng Local Government Units.

Nabanggit din niya ang malaking papel na ginam­panan ng PSC sa Palarong Pambansa sa ilalim ng De­partment of Education. Da­ting pinangasiwaan ng PSC ang Palarong Pambansa bago ibinigay ang superbisyon sa DepEd sa nasabing palaro tampok ang mga manlalaro sa public schools sa buong bansa.

“I can say with pride PSC successfully accomplished these projects with flying colors with the helped of Commissioners Dr. Celia Kiram, Ramon Fernandez, Charles Raymond Maxey and Arnold Agustin. We se­riously and diligently worked hard and consolidated our efforts to make sure all the projects attain success,” pa­hayag ni Ramirez. “My en­tire staff and those from other departments indeed worked hard and pulled their resources to ensure the suc­cess of all the sports activities undertaken by PSC.”

Bukod sa mga proyekto ng PSC, buong puso ring ginampanan ng ahensiya ang responsibilidad bilang taga­pangalaga sa national athletes sa mga international sports competitions tulad ng South­east Asian Games, Asian Games, Olympic Games, World Youth Olympics, ASEAN Para Games, Asian Para Games, Olympic Para Games, at iba pang overseas competitions.

Kamakailan umayuda ang PSC sa katatapos na BIMP-EAGA Sports Com­petition na ginawa sa Brunei na pinamunuan ni Commish Maxey bilang Chief of Mis­sion.

Sinabi ng dating atleta, athletic director at educator na buo ang suporta ng PSC sa mga atleta sa kanilang paghahanda sa 2019 South­east Asian Games na gaga­win sa bagong state-of-the-art New Clark City Sports Com­plex sa Capaz, Tarlac.

“PSC will provide all the needed assistance to the national athletes taking part in the SEA Games,” pagsisi­guro ni Ramirez.
