2ND PSC-WOMEN’S STREET VOLLEYBALL BABANAT SA TAWI-TAWI EDITION

BIBISITA ang Philip­pine Sports Commission sa island municipality ng Si­munul sa Tawi-Tawi para sa second edition ng PSC-Wo­men’s Street Volleyball na hahataw sa November 3 hang­gang 6.

Mahigit 600 na kababa­ihan mula 15 barangays ang inaasahang sasali sa event na pangungunahan ni Wo­men in Sports Oversight Commissioner Celia Kiram at Simulun Mayor Nazif Ahmad Bayo Abduraman.

“The people of Simunul are very much into sports, especially volleyball. They play it in every street, down to the beach area,” saad ni Kiram. “We have excellent players in this region. That is why we are also promo­ting our grassroots deve­lopment here and discover future talents that will be soon be part of our national team.”

Ang unang edition ng Women Street Volleyball ay nangyari ng nakaraang taon.

“Sports equipment are going to be donated to the local government of Simu­nul,” pagtatapos ni Sulu-native Kiram.
