Mga empleyado sa ospital, tourism sectors, manufacturing companies, kasama ang ibang frontliner at economic priority kailangan bigyan ng free (COVID-19) swab test upang maiwasan ang pagkalat ng sakit.

Sinabi ni Labor Sec Silvestre Bello III ito ang nilalaman ng Joint Memorandum Circulation No. 20-04 series of 2020 with DTI na magsisimula sa Sabado.

Saad niya, "The COVID-19 testing must be no cost to the employees".

Ang mga nabanggit ay kailangan sumailalim sa libreng real-time reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction, RT-PCR test, kasama rin ang transport at logistics, food retail, education, financial services, non-food retail, services, public market, construction; water supply, sewerage, and waste management; public sector at mass media.

Ang mga empleyado sa ospital at tourism sector sa Boracay, Coron, El Nido, Panglao, Siargao at iba pang tourist zone na nasa pangangasiwa ng Department of Tourism ay sasailalim sa swab test isang sa isang buwan.

Ang mga empleyado naman sa manufacturing companies at public service sa mga Special Concern Areas at dapat i-test kada tatlong buwan.

Ayon sa Department of Labor, "Sick leave benefits, medical insurance coverage, includingò supplemental pay allowance, for COVID 19 RT-PCR test-confirmed employees or close contacts made to undergo a 14-day quarantine must also be provided to workers,”

Dagdag pa ng DOLE sakop ng memorandum ang lahat ng establisimiyemto, proyekto, site, at lahat ng iba pang lugar kung saan isinasagawa ang ibang economic activity maliban na lamang sa mga pampublikong sektor.
