Subic Bay Freeport, planong gamitin para sa testing at quarantine ng mga OFW

Batay sa kasunduan ng Pilipinas at ADB, gagamitin ang naturang pondo para sa Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) o ayuda sa mga mahihirap na pamilyang Pilipinong naapektuhan ng COVID-19.

Ayon sa mga opisyal ay plano nilang gamitin ang Subic Bay Freeport para sa mga OFW na babalik sa bansa.


Ayon kay Wilma Eisma, chair of the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) nitong Linggo muli nilang pag-uusap ng Overseas Workers Welfare Administration and the Philippine Ports Authority ang tungkol sa dito dahil kailangan pa ng approval ng mga SBMA board para sa kaligtasan ng lahat.
