Sistema ng pinansyal sa Pinas “maganda”

Sinabi ng Bankers Association of the Philippines (BAP) nu’ng Martes na ang financial system ng bansa ay “maganda” sa kabila ng may mga indibidual na responsible sa pagpapalsipika ng mga dukumento na ikinokonekta sa mga lokal na bangko patukoy sa Wirecard scandal.

Dalawang malaking bangko ang nasangkot sa German payment provider na naghanap ng halos 2.1 billion dollars matapos magpalsipika ng dokumento ang ilang empleyado BDO Unibank at Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) ang nasabing mga nasangkot ay natanggal na.

Ayon sa Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas ay walang perang pumasok mula Wirecard dito sa Pinas. Kasalukuyang sinisiyasat ng Anti-Money Laundering Council, National Bureau of Investigation at Department of Justice ang mga kumpanya, dating mga opisyal at mamamayang Pilipino na sinasabing kasangkot kay Wirecard.
