PNR, April 12 pa ang balik-operasyon

Iniurong ang pagpapatuloy ng operasyon ng PNR sa April 12, Lunes, ayon sa transport operator ngayong Biyernes.

Unang inianunsiyo ng PNR na sa April 9 magpapatuloy ang kanilang operasyon ngunit dahil hindi pa nakukuha ng ilang empleyado ang kanilang COVID-19 test results, iniurong ito sa April 12.

Pahayag pa ng PNR, "The deferment of resumption of PNR train operations from April 9 to April 12 was decided upon by the PNR Management Committee as some RT-PCR results are still pending release, which requires tested personnel to stay at home while waiting for results.”

Noong Marso 29 hanggang April 8 nagsagawa ng COVID-19 testing, ayon sa PNR at sumailalim din umano sa isolation ang mga nagpositibo sa Coronavirus at nag-quarantine naman ang mga may direct contact sa mga ito.

Pahayag pa ng pamunuan, “Personnel who tested positive for COVID are already in isolation, while those with direct contact were subjected to strict quarantine procedures.”

Samantala, ang mga nagnegatibong empleyado naman ay maaaring magtrabaho ngunit kailangan ding sumailalim sa antigen testing.

“To ensure the safety of all other PNR personnel, as well as PNR train passengers. As passenger and personnel safety remains its utmost priority, PNR seeks the understanding and cooperation of its passengers as it continues to implement stringent health protocol prior to its resumption of operations on Monday," dagdag pa ng PNR.
