The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) donated ₱60,000 worth of assorted medicines to the Local Government Unit (LGU) of San Simon, Pampanga during a ceremonial turnover held at the PCSO Conservatory Building in Mandaluyong City on July 22, 2026.
The donation was formally handed over by Medical Services Department Manager Dr. Clarissa Ferrer, to Municipal Administrator Ula Supan and Shaireen Mae Tongol who received the medicines on behalf of Acting Mayor Josephine Anne Canlas.
The donated medicines are expected to enhance the municipality's healthcare services by ensuring the availability of essential medical supplies to residents, particularly indigent patients and vulnerable sectors who have limited access to healthcare resources. The assistance will also help the local government to respond more effectively to the routine medical needs of its constituents.
The initiative forms part of the PCSO's Medicine Donation Program and it’s continuing efforts to support local government units through its health assistance programs, ensuring that essential medicines reach communities where they are most needed.
