Pakistani na naaresto sa Palawan, ipapa-deport ng BI

Napagdesisyunan ng Bureau of Immigration na ipa-deport ang Pakistani national na naaresto sa Palawan noong Agosto 6 dahil sa diumano’y “possession of guns and explosives.”

Ayon kay Immigration Commissioner Jaime Morente, inatasan niya ang Legal Division ng naturang ahensiya upang aksiyunan ang umano’y paglabag ng naturang Pakistani na kinilala bilang si Haroon Bashir sa immigration law.

Ayon din kay Morente, “undocumented alien si Bashir na matagal namalagi sa Puerto Princesa.

Aniya, “A check of his travel record in our database showed that he arrived in the Philippines on 28 April 2013, and that he never left the country since then.”

Samantala, hindi rin naman nakapagpakita si Bashir ng travel document maging ng pasaporte.

Saad ni Morente, “It is only after he has served his sentence that we can deport him.

“He will then be blacklisted and banned from re-entering the country.”
