Inanunsiyo ng Department of Education (DepEd) ngayong Miyerkules na makatatanggap ng P1,000 ang lahat ng public school teacher sa pagdiriwang ng World Teacher’s Day at dagdag pang P500 para sa medical expenses.
Ang P1,500 incentive na ito ay maaaring matanggap ng mga guro bago o sa Oktubre 5 na araw mismo ng mga guro, ayon kay DepEd Secretary Leonor Briones.
Aniya, “This financial assistance also forms part of the effort to protect the health, safety, and well-being of the learners and teachers given the state of public health emergency in the country due to the COVID-19 pandemic."
Samantala, nauna nang sinabi ni Education Undersecretary Annalyn Sevilla na kung magpositibo man sa COVID-19 ang DepEd personnel, kasama ang mga guro ay maaaring kumuha ng benefit packages para sa kanilang medical expenses sa PhilHealth.
