KAMPO NI DJ LOONYO, UMAMING SINAMAHAN NG DRAMA ANG KUWENTO NG BUHAY SA MAGPAKAILANMAN

Naglabas ng official statement ang kampo ng social media influencer at viral dancer na si Rhemuel Lunio a.k.a. DJ Loonyo hinggil sa life story niya (he was portrayed by Jak Roberto) na inere sa Magpakailanman last July 18.

Samu’t saring reaksiyon kasi ang natanggap ng programa at ni DJ Loonyo mula sa mga netizens bukod pa nga sa nagbigay pa ng reaksiyon ang ex-girlfriend niya na na-feature rin sa story.

Ayon sa Facebook post ng ex-girlfriend na si Aika Flores matapos ang airing ng MPK, pa-victim daw si DJ Loonyo at ikinuwento ang detalye ng kanilang relasyon kung saan ay nagkaroon sila ng anak na lalaki na pumanaw noong 2017.

Ayon kay Aika, taliwas daw ang ilang mga kuwento ni DJ Loonyo tungkol sa ilang detalye sa relasyon nila na lumabas sa MPK sa totoong nangyari.

At dahil dito, naglabas ng statement ang team ni DJ Loonyo at diretsong in-address ang mga pahayag ni Aika.

“In relation to a specific post by his ex-girlfriend/partner and mother of his departed son, this is what our team would like to express on this matter.

"First and foremost, DJ Loonyo conducted an interview to share intimate and publicly unknown details about his life for the coverage, with the request to omit or leave out some sensitive parts, particularly pertaining to his son.

"We, as a management and team, signed a contract allowing the program to enhance certain aspects of his life, because it is still, in fact, for a dramatic TV show retelling.

“We worked together with the writing staff to limit the references to the past love story, and asked to change the name references, or as much as possible, edit out parts that were not true to life.

“With all due respect to the respectable program and its host, Ms. Mel Tiangco, the retelling was as respectfully told as was possible, and shed light on both the positive and negative aspects of his life.

“We understand that in this situation, no one can really be truly fulfilled, because in situations like this, emotions run high and there is really the chance that someone can speak negatively,” bahagi ng nakasaad sa statement.

Humihingi raw ng paumanhin si DJ Loonyo kung may na-offend man ito sa kanyang kuwento.

"On behalf of Rhemuel or DJ Loonyo (however you may want to refer to him), we would like to sincerely apologize to the individuals or their families who were offended by the retelling of his life story.

“We genuinely mean no offense, nor wish any ill or harm on anyone, most of all that of his son.”

Tungkol sa mga pamba-bash na natatanggap ng dancer, naiintindihan naman daw nila pero at the same time ay nakalulungkot.

“As you may have seen from the episode, he is far from being a perfect person, and public perception these days is quite a big deal. So the mudslinging, the name-calling, the hurtful words that you find yourself typing in the comment section is understandable… but also, quite unfortunate and unnecessary.

“Please bear in mind that in as much as freedom of speech is a right given to all, it does not mean we can use our voice or our words to cut wounds into others, especially if we do not really know the whole story.

“When our team agreed to give the show the rights to air and retell the story of his life, it was not done with malice or selfish intent, but ultimately to show the viewers that no matter how bad things may go in your life, there will always be a reason to keep fighting and striving, and hopefully, God will give you His grace in the end.

“Thank you to those who stay supportive, and who think before they type or click away. Thank you for your understanding,” saad pa ng statement.
