"I am not silent. I'm actually very vocal about my feelings about the death of ABS-CBN. People say that King of Talk is not talking," panimula niya.

"Well, right now, the king has no home. He's poor. He doesn't even have a shack. Nowhere to live. Has become a pauper. Uh, I'm serious, I don't have a platform," paliwanag niya.

Kung meron pa raw The Bottomline and Tonight with Boy Abunda na dalawang programa niya dati sa ABS-CBN, he would have voice out his opinion about the congressional hearing. That's one of the reasons daw kaya nagmukhang tahimik ang King of Talk.

Pangalawang punto niya, "When I am in grief, I am quiet. When I am in pain, I am quiet. I don't like being fast over. Ayoko 'yung people paying so much attention for me. I like to be quiet. I like to think. It takes a while for one to be able to embrace that pain completely."

"Don't enter the debate too early. Listen. I would say right now, we need to pace because this is going to be a long, long winter."

"I don't have that sense. Uhm, I love the girl. I admire her. If Angel Locsin were to run for public office, she would run for Senate, I would campaign and I will vote for her. Dahil, I don't think Angel has to be viewed simply in that rant on that stage during the noise barrage. What did I hear from Angel there, I heard a young woman who was frustrated, who was exasperated, who was even angry."

But now na may platform na si Kuya Boy, ang The Boy Abunda Talk Channel, mae-express na raw niya ang kanyang saloobin sa publiko.

"May mga pagkakataon na nasisilip ko ang Congressional hearing and there was not an instance na ako'y natakot that we were going to lose. I always thought that we have a fighting chance. So, sobrang sakit," diin pa niya.

Ang pag-deny daw ng Kongreso sa prangkisa ng ABS-CBN para sa kanya ay the height of injustice.

"I don't think ABS-CBN should remain close. It's very, very personal to me."
