Ipinakita ng China, Chinese-Taipei at ng South Korea ang pagiging dominante sa Asian Cycling Confederation (ACC) Track and Para Track Championships na ginanap sa Tagaytay City.

Binasbasan naman ng International Cycling Union (UCI) ang Tagaytay CT Velodrome bilang Category A facility na ikinatuwa naman ni PhilCycling president Abraham “Bambol” Tolentino.

We are now officially a UCI track destination,” saad ni Tolentino kahapon. “With a Category A homologation, we can now host world cups and even the world championships.”

“The disappointments are expected, but the good thing about the team is that the riders bettered themselves from training,” ani  PhilCycling track coach Virgilio Espiritu.
