Pumanaw na rin ang lola ni Kim Chiu na nasa Cebu City at ikinalulungkot nga ng aktres na hindi man lang siya makakapunta to pay her last respect because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Kaya naman sa kanyang Instagram account na lang siya namaalam sa beloved granny.

“She slept peacefully, and little did she know she would wake up in heaven. Rest well in heaven, ama! You don’t have to wait anymore sa sunrise ug sunset. I guess in heaven sun is always shining. I still remember 'pag kinukumusta kita, you always say na 'Naghulat sa pagsaka sa adlaw ug nagpaabot na mu gabii. Para ugma napud.' You always taught us that tomorrow is another day.
