Covid patients na nagpapasaklolo sa One Hospital Command Center, dumarami

Dumami ang natatanggap na tawag ng One Hospital Command Center (OHCC) kasabay ng paglobo ng kaso ng COVID-19 sa bansa, ayon kay Health Undersecretary Leopoldo Vega nitong Miyerkules. Aniya, "'Yung mga tawag namin sa ospital, talagang tumataas ngayon.


Ang average, 250 to 300 calls a day." Inilunsad ng Department of Health (DOH), Inter-agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID), Department of Interior Local Government (DILG), Department of Tourism (DOT), Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) at Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) ang One Hospital Command Center (OHCC) na matatagpuan sa MMDA Arena, Makati City para sa mga COVID-19 patients o indibidwal na nahihirapang makahanap ng medical attention, referral hospitals, quarantine facilities at medical transportation.


Bukas ang tanggapan ng OHCC na maaaring tawagan sa 02-886-505-00, 0915-777-7777 at 0919-977-3333 o i-scan ang Quick Response (QR) code.




Dagdag ni Vega, "Pati returning overseas Filipinos, hinahanapan namin ng isolation at quarantine facilities. ‘Pag minsan, meron kaming mga 'falls', hindi namin kaagad magampanan. Mabuti na lang meron kaming call center.”


Ayon naman kay DOH Epidemiology Bureau Director Alethea De Guzman, karamihan sa mga natatanggap na tawag ng OHCC ay mga nanghihingi ng advice o counseling.


“In one way, we don’t want more calls because that means more people are getting sick, but I’d like to take a positive (view) that many people are becoming aware that they should not self-medicate,” giit pa ni De Guzman.
