'Conscience vote', tugon ni Speaker Cayetano sa franchise renewal ng ABS-CBN

Batay sa kasunduan ng Pilipinas at ADB, gagamitin ang naturang pondo para sa Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) o ayuda sa mga mahihirap na pamilyang Pilipinong naapektuhan ng COVID-19.


Muling binuksan kanina ng House committee on legislative franchises kasama ang committee on good government and public accountability, ang pagdinig sa bills para sa renewal of franchise ng media network na ABS-CBN.


Ayon kay Speaker Allan Peter Cayetano tungkol sa 'conscience vote', "I cannot speak for parties. This is one of the rare cases where representatives will decide for the people."


Subalit para kay House Senior Deputy Majority Leader Jesus Crispin Remulla, nais niyang magsiyasat ang National Bureau of Investigation sa ABS-CBN gayundin, sa nangyayaring 'cyberbullying' sa mga mambabatas.


Sa ngayon patuloy ang pagdinig sa naturang franchise renewal ng ABS-CBN.
