Calida, pangalawa sa highest-paid gov. official

Batay sa kasunduan ng Pilipinas at ADB, gagamitin ang naturang pondo para sa Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) o ayuda sa mga mahihirap na pamilyang Pilipinong naapektuhan ng COVID-19.


Ayon sa inilabas na listahan ng Commission on Audit (COA) na “2019 Report on Salaries and Allowances” ng mga opisyal ng gobyerno nu’ng 2019, nabulgar na si Solicitor General Jose Calida ay ang second-highest-paid government official na tumanggap ng kabuuang suweldong P16.95 million.


Samantala, si Former United Coconut Planters Bank (UCPB) President Higinio Macadaeg, Jr. naman ang nangunguna sa listahan na may pinakamataas na suweldong natanggap nu’ng 2019 na pumalo sa P20.47 million.


Pangatlo naman si Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Governor Benjamin Diokno na may kabuuang suweldong P15.4 million.
