DOJ official Aglipay-Villar nagbitiw sa puwesto

Nagbitiw sa puwesto si Justice Undersecretary Emmeline Aglipay-Villar matapos ang halos apat na taong serbisyo sa DOJ.

Sa mensahe sa mga reporters, sinabi ni Justice chief Menardo Guevarra na epektibo ang resignation ni Aglipay-Villar sa March 21.

"It is with deep sadness that I announce the resignation of Atty. Emmeline Aglipay-Villar as undersecretary of the Department of Justice," ani Guevarra.

"She will campaign for her husband, former DPWH secretary Mark Villar, who is running for senator in the upcoming elections in May," dagdag niya.

Sinabi rin ni Guevarra na patuloy na magtatrabaho si Aglipay-Villar hanggang sa huling araw nito sa departamento.

“Usec. Em will continue to work until her last day in office. As of today, no other Usec. or Asec. is leaving the DOJ,” aniya.

Si Chief State Counsel George Ortha II ang magiging OIC undersecretary sa pag-alis ni Aglipay-Villar.

Si Aglipay-Villar ay naitalaga sa DOJ noong 2008.
