Magiging epektibo na sa Sabado ang kontrobersiyal na Anti-Terrorism Act ayon sa Department of Justice.
Paglilinaw ni Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra, ang Anti-Terrorism Act ay na-publish noong July 3 kung kaya magiging epektibo na ito sa July 18, pagkatapos ng 15 days.
Aniya, “We rectify our earlier statement that the law will take effect after the 15th day, or on July 19. Our apologies.
"But there are provisions where operational details need to be spelled out or standards clearly defined in the IRR for a proper implementation of the law.”
