Sinentensiyahan ng habambuhay na pagkakakulong o reclusion perpetua si dating Bamban Mayor Alice Guo o Guo Hua Ping.


Kasunod ito ng paghahatol ng Pasig Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 167 kay Guo na guilty sa qualified human trafficking.


Convicted din sa parehong kaso sina Rachelle Malonzo Carreon, Jaimielyn Cruz, at Walter Wong Rong at pinatawan sila kabilang si Guo ng P2 milyong multa.


Ang kaso ay konektado sa pagsalakay sa isang Philippine Offshore Gaming Operator (POGO) hub sa bayan ni Guo noong Hunyo 2024, kung saan mahigit 800 Pilipino at dayuhan ang nailigtas.
