Idols sa PVL, may online greet fans day sa Agosto, abangan

May plano na ang pamunuan ng Premier Volleyball League (PVL) sa sandaling pahintulutan na sila ng Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) na muling makapagdaos ng mga laro. Ayon kay PVL organizer Sports Vision president Ricky Palou, plano nilang gawing "closed door" ang kanilang torneo. “If we are able to hold a tournament this year, we’ll probably be a closed-door tournament. No audience,” ani Palou sa naging panayam dito sa podcast ng Tiebreaker Times. “I don’t know how teams will react to that, how they will play with no audience watching. But I hope they’ll be mature enough to play and give it their all. After all, this should come out on television.” Habang naghihintay ng pagpapatuloy ng training at laro, umaasa si Palou na patuloy sa pagpapakondisyon ang kanilang mga teams habang nasa panahon ng coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic upang maging handa sa sandaling puwede na muling maglaro. “It is important that the teams start working out, preparing for the event, if there’s a go-signal for the competition to push through.” Samantala, kahit walang laro, naghahanda ang PVL ng kanilang maiaalay sa kanilang mga fans at supporters. "We are thinking of having something like a fans’ day, meet and greet fans day. The fans’ day will be of course online.” ani Palou. Balak nila itong gawin sa buwan ng Agosto.
