Nagpostibo sa COVID-19 si Lapu-Lapu City Mayor Junard ‘Ahong’ Chan.
Inanunsiyo ito mismo ni Chan sa kanyang Facebook page.
Aniya, kahit gaano siya kaingat ay dinapuan pa rin siya ng virus.
“Although we realize that we are trying to avoid covid-19, we are still getting caught with that pain. I’ll change, I’m positive on covid-19. I don’t want to get this virus but it doesn’t choose and we don’t add it because the opponent can’t be seen,” ani Chan.
Samantala, magpapatuloy umano ang alkalde sa pagbibigay-serbisyo sa pamamagitan ng pagdalo sa mga virtual meetings at pagiging aktibo sa social media.
