Posibleng manatili sa general community quarantine ang status ng Metro Manila hanggang Hunyo 30.
Ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque, ito ay dahil marami pa rin ang naitatalang kaso ng COVID-19 kada araw ang Department of Health.
Aniya, maaari rin muling ibalik sa modified enhanced community quarantine ang Metro Manila kung iiksi ang case doubling rate at kung hindi sasapat ang health care facilities para sa mga medical workers na tutugon sa mga tinamaan ng virus.
"All the decisions of the IATF, whether or not to graduate to the next regime, in the case of Metro Manila to MGCQ (modified general community quarantine), is always dependent on data," sabi ni Roque.
“If the trend continues, either we continue on under GCQ or we could go back to modified GCQ. All classifications are flexible, depending on the data,” wika pa ni Roque.
