Nakadepende sa UAAP at NCAA ang mga plano ng D-League

Maraming liga ang naghihintay ng abiso ng gobyerno para makapag-ensayo ang players.

Isa ang PBA D-League ang tiyak na maghihintay ng matagal dahil nakadepende ang kanilang pagbabalik sa dalawang major collegiate leagues na UAAP at NCAA.

“Right now, as we all know, most of our teams are collegiate teams so we’re still waiting for the two major leagues for the announcement of their return,” pahayag ni PBA Deputy Commissioner and Operations Manager Eric Castro sa naganap na Philippine Sportswriters Association online forum. “From there, we’ll see in the calendar when we can re-start the D-League,”

Nasalto ang D-League Aspirants Cup noong Marso na kinabibilangan ng school-based teams na Builders Warehouse-UST at EcoOil-DLSU at club team na Marinerong Pilipino ito'y dahil sa pag-atake ng COVID-19 pandemic.

Isinailalim sa Enhanced Community Quarantine, (ECQ) ang Luzon kaya tigil lahat ng sporting events.
