“In the midst of this pandemic, we asked for the people’s health to be prioritized instead, we got a bill that will allow the government to legally silence anyone who has something to say about the government on terms that are vaguely defined.
“First, they silenced a big part of the press. Now they’re silencing us. Please remember that voicing out our dissent is our duty it is not a crime. #JUNKTERRORBILLNOW #MassTestingNowPH #IbalikAngABSCBN.”
Senate Bill 1083. Also known as the ‘Anti-Terrorism Bill’ has been Certified as Urgent by President Rodrigo Duterte."
In this bill, terrorism is defined as anyone who (with or without any direct part in the act) commits the following to incite fear or provoke the government."
Ikatlo ay kuha naman ng taong nakaratay na, “Joining a rally, conspiring, training, organizing or recruiting for ‘terrorism’, posting or sharing the ‘terrorist’ content online donating to non-state recognized organizations, possessing producing and supplying of weapons, destruction of private, government property or critical infrastructure causing death or serious bodily injured."
Ikaapat ay babaeng piniringan na may nakasulat na, “Suspected terrorists can be arrested without warrant, illegally detained or imprisoned for life."
Sabi ni @genggengaguinaldo, “I'm a law enforcer who is assigned in a mobile force company concentrating on fighting against terrorism. I’m your avid follower, and maybe 5 years older than you.
Lingid po sa kaalaman ng lahat, the anti-terrorism bill's one of the main concerns is to stop the deceitful recruitment of children by the CPP-NPA. They tend to use the children to voice out their useless ideologist and black propaganda. Even at the expense of the children's lives.
“There are many intelligent students who are studying in prestigious schools but they were brainwashed by the CPP-NPA. Sila ‘yung laging target o biktima ng NPA recruitment since matatalino sila, kaya nilang gumawa at makipagtalastasan against the government's plans and actions.
“That's the process of their recruitment. We're sacrificing our lives, we devote ourselves to our work, yet you opt to contradict and ignore our efforts to secure you.”
I’m from Bukidnon, tingnan ang tapang mo. Sorry, but please place your shoes on our situation. Hindi lang kayo nakatira sa Pilipinas.”
Say naman ni @akosinoods, “It’s sad that most of the artistas who are #Antiterrorbill are from ABS-CBN, domino effect kasi sabi ni Boss, wala tayong prangkisa kaya #junkterrorbill tayo even if the bills is our shield to the leftist group and ISIS. Ilang beses bang ipapaliwanag na #activism is not terrorism, that's not what it meant on the bill, twisted ang ibinigay na paniniwala at explanation sa inyo.”
