Nagpaabot ng pakikiramay ang Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) sa pagpanaw ni Philippine Honorary Consul General in Stockholm, Sweden Erik Belfrage.
Pumanaw si Belfrage noong Sabado, April 18 dahil sa COVID-19.
Si Belfrage, na isa ring negosyante at dating diplomat sa Swedish Foreign Service ay pinamunuan ang Philippine Consulate General sa Stockholm mula 2013.
“The Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs mourns the passing of its valued and esteemed honorary member, and a true friend of the country. The Department and the Embassy offer their deepest condolences to his family. Mr. Belfrage is survived by wife Anna, brother Frank and children,” ayon sa DFA.
