Mag-ama, tandem.. Sara-Digong sa 2022

Hindi na ikinagulat ng Malacañang ang lumabas sa survey ng political consultancy firm na Publicus Asia, Inc, na top choice sa Visayas at Mindanao ang tandem na Sara Duterte bilang pangulo at Rodrigo Duterte bilang bise-presidente sa 2022.

“I’m not surprised! That has been done before in the City of Davao, when both of them ran as mayor and vice-mayor (and vice-versa),” wika ni Presidential Spokesman Salvador Panelo.

Aniya, hindi naman na bago sa mag-ama ang pagtakbo nang sabay sa eleksiyon dahil ginawa na nila ito bilang mayor at vice-mayor noon sa Davao City.

Ayon kay Panelo, nabanggit niya kay Pangulong Duterte ang tungkol sa survey at ngumiti lang ito at hindi na nagbigay ng tugon.

Pero, sabi ni Panelo, hindi iniisip ng Pangulo ang 2022 elections ngayon.

“Whether he wants to run again, that’s his call; but that has been the emerging… idea,” ani Panelo.

“Among people… there should be a Duterte-Duterte tandem in the next presidential elections. The president is not prohibited from running as vice-president,” dagdag pa ni Panelo.
