Mga kolorum na courier services, buking — DICT

Kinumpirma ni DICT Undersecretary Eliseo Rio na wala umanong mga lisensiya ang ilang courier services dahil wala sila sa listahan ng accredited courier services na matatagpuan sa website ng ahensiya.

“We already issued the warnings. All they have to do is go to the DICT website to see the companies that are accredited,” giit pa ni Rio.

Batay sa rekord, tanging ang mga may lisensiya na courier services sa Pilipinas ay ang 2go Express, Inc.; Go21, Inc.; Intertraffic transport Corp.; JRS Business Corporation; LBC Express, Inc.; Quickreliable Courier Services, Inc.; Wide Wide World Express Corporation at Xytron International, Inc.

Kaugnay nito, nakatakdang ipatawag ni Buhay Partylist Rep. Lito Atienza ang mga representante mula sa mga top online stores dahil sa pagtangkilik sa mga ilegal na courier services tulad umano ng Ninja Express PH o NinjaVan at J&T Express gayu’ng walang anumang lisensiya mula sa DICT.

Una nang inihain ni Atienza ang House Resolution No. 481 na layuning busisiin ang mga nagsulputang hindi rehistradong courier service at magkaroon ng sapat ng panuntunan at regulasyon ang multi-bilyong pisong industriya para na rin mabigyang proteksiyon ang publiko na tumatangkilik sa naturang serbisyo.
