PNPA, hawak na ng PNP

NILAGDAAN na ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang batas na naglilipat sa training ng police recruits ng Philippine National Police Academy at National Police Training Institute sa ilalim ng Philippine National Police.

“We would like to thank Congress for passing it and of course, the President for signing it,” ayon kay PNP Chief Oscar Albayalde. Sa ilalim ng Republic Act No. 11279, ipapailalim na ito sa supervision at control PNP mula sa dating Philippine Public Safety College.

Magkaroon ang PNPA ng Dean of Academics at Commandant na parehong may ranggo na Police Brigadier General. Ang NPTI naman ay pamumunuan ng director na may ranggong Police Major General.
