MAPAPASABAK si Pinoy challenger Cris Leon laban kay Singapore top professional boxer Muhamad Ridhwan sa Rising Stars event sa Mar­so 23 sa Resorts World Manila sa Pasay City kung saan ang event co-promoted ng Ringstar at ng Manny Pacquiao’s MP Promotions.

Headline para sa bak­bakan sina IBF bantamweight title eliminator Filipino Michael Dasmariñas at Kenny Demecillo. “I love your vision with Ringstar Asia. We are looking forward to working with you to build the next world champions in boxing,” saad ni Manny Pac­quiao bilang mensahe niya sa Ringstar.

“I saw this as a great opportunity to launch the partnership between Ringstar and Manny Pac­quiao Promotions,” saad naman ni Ringstar foun­der at CEO Scott Farrell nang mag-venture sa MP Promotions sa kanyang pagbisita sa TOPS Usa­pang Sports kahapon.

Itinakda ang laban matapos na ianunsiyo noong unang linggo ng Pebrero na ipagtatanggol ni Ridhwan ang World Boxing Council (WBC) silver featherweight title kontra Paulus Ambun­da na orihinal sanang itatak­da sa Marso 29 sa Singa­pore Indoor Stadium pero nakansela.

“Who wouldn’t take the chance to launch a partnership with the one and only 8-division world champion and senator Manny Pacquiao?
