Labingwalong inmates ng New Bilibid Prison at Correctional Institution for Women ang naiulat na pumanaw dahil sa sakit na COVID-19 ayon sa Bureau of Corrections (BuCor).
Hindi inilabas ng ahensiya ang identity ng mga biktima at saad ni BuCor Spokesperson Gabriel Chaclag, "As much as we want to inform the public and inform our media partners, we have to respect the rights of the PDL (person deprived of liberty). "We have a high regard for the rights of our PDL. When COVID-19, we will not provide details."
