The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) extended healthcare assistance by providing wheelchairs to beneficiaries from the 3rd District of Bataan on September 29, 2026, as part of the agency’s ongoing efforts to support individuals with mobility needs and communities in need.
PCSO Executive Assistant Atty. Maria Katrina Nicole Ventanilla formally turned over the wheelchairs to Chief Political Affairs Officer Maria Faiva Reyes, representing Bataan 3rd District Rep. Maria Angela Garcia, in a simple ceremony held at the PCSO Main Office in Mandaluyong City.
The donated wheelchairs will help beneficiaries move with greater ease and carry out daily activities more independently. By addressing their mobility needs, the assistance can also enable them to participate more actively in family and community life.
The activity was carried out under the PCSO’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program, which supports various community-based initiatives and seeks to address the needs of sectors and individuals who require assistance.Through its CSR initiatives, the PCSO continues to work with government offices, local communities, and other stakeholders in extending assistance that improves the welfare and quality of life of beneficiaries.
The wheelchair assistance for Bataan’s 3rd District underscores the agency’s continuing commitment to its public service mandate and its efforts to bring meaningful assistance closer to Filipinos in need.
