MANDALUYONG CITY — Extending its commitment to make its charitable programs more accessible to communities in need, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) once again brought its healthcare assistance closer to the grassroots through its Medicine Donation Program on Wednesday, September 16, 2026.
Held at the PCSO Conservatory Building, the turnover of medicines was led by Dr. Rouel C. Aparato, OIC Division Chief of the Satellite Division of the Medical Services Department, underscoring the agency’s continuing efforts to respond to requests for medical assistance from various sectors of society.
Among the recipients of the donated medicines were the 4th District of Manila, represented Eddie Toralba; Scouts Royal Brotherhood, represented by NCR President Kenneth Brotherton; and the Municipality of Binangonan, Rizal, represented by Mary Ann Ocampo.
Also included among the beneficiaries were Barangay 174, Zone 15, District I, Camarin, Caloocan City, represented by staff member April Chan; Barangay Banoyo, San Luis, Batangas, represented by PAO II Alberta Mendoza; Barangay 566, Zone 55, District IV, Manila, represented by staff member Felizidad Marquez; and Barangay 199, Zone 18, District II, City of Manila, represented by Barangay Chairperson Revelyn Alegoria.
The initiative also demonstrates how PCSO’s charitable mandate extends beyond major institutions, reaching communities and organizations directly serving people at the local level.
As the agency continues to expand the reach of its services,
the Medicine Donation Program remains one of the avenues through which PCSO translates its commitment to public service into tangible assistance, bringing much-needed medicines closer to the people who need them most.
“PCSO, Hindi Umuurong sa Pagtulong!”
