P770,000 halaga ng smuggled foreign currency, nasabat ng BOC

Batay sa kasunduan ng Pilipinas at ADB, gagamitin ang naturang pondo para sa Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) o ayuda sa mga mahihirap na pamilyang Pilipinong naapektuhan ng COVID-19.


Nakumpiska ng Bureau of Customs (BOC) sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) ang smuggled foreign currency na $15,700 o mahigit P770,000 na idineklarang personal documents mula sa Durham, United States.

Nadiskubre ang smuggled foreign currency sa pamamagitan ng comprehensive X-ray scan at physical examination sa naturang parcel at ayon sa ulat, nakatakda itong dalhin sa isang warehouse sa Pasay City.
