Michael Defensor, “It is critical that we see their SALN in order for us to see the real situation of PhilHealth.”
Sa naganap na Senate hearing nitong Martes, saad ni Lawyer Thorrsson Montes Keith, “My primary job as antifraud legal officer of PhilHealth is to spy on corrupt personnel … What I have discovered in PhilHealth may be called ‘crime of the year.’
“I believe, based on my investigation, that the (public) money that had been wasted or stolen was more or less P15 billion.”
Samanta, nais ng House panel na ipakita nina Morales at Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Arnel de Jesus, at ng ilan pang opisyales ang kani-kanilang SALNs.
Ayon naman kay House Deputy Minority Leader at Bayan Muna Rep. Carlos Isagani Zarate, ang pagsasagawa ng lifestyle check sa mga taong sangkot “is really needed in order to exact accountability.”
